About This Cyber Security Engineer Position

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain network security infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS systems
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis
- Perform security audits and compliance checks
- Configure and monitor SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling
- Stay updated with latest cyber threats and security trends
- Collaborate with IT teams on security best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Computer Science
- 1-2 years experience in cyber security (entry level welcome)
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with security tools (Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems administration
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Understanding of encryption technologies and PKI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
